A Fort Worth woman driving a co-worker home was shot and killed by a gunman Wednesday night after a road rage incident on Interstate 30 in Arlington, police said.
Authorities continued to search for the suspect Thursday.
“She had just dropped off another co-worker in Fort Worth and she was on her way to drop off another one in Arlington,” said her mother, Sharon Daniel of Fort Worth, on Thursday. “She was just taking care of them and making sure they made it home.”
The road rage shooting occurred about 7 p.m. Wednesday on eastbound I-30 near Cooper Street.
