One man was fatally shot and another was wounded Thursday night in far south Fort Worth, police said Friday morning.
They had not released information about the circumstances of the shootings by late Friday.
Officials with the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the fatally wounded man as Robert McGill, 33, and listed his cause of death as a gunshot wound to the right arm and chest. The shooting location was listed as the 7600 block of Patsy Circle, which is less than one-half mile west of the location where the shooting call originated, according to the medical examiner’s office.
Officers responded about 8:45 p.m. to a shooting call in the 2200 block of Rosa Court at the Sycamore Pointe Apartments. They found a wounded man lying in the yard.
