#8: Lockdown lifted after ‘all clear’ given at NAS Fort Worth | The Star-Telegram

The Naval Air Station was locked down for several hours Thursday after a “suspicious package” was identified at the main gate, a base spokeswoman said in news releases.

The package was flagged about 9:25 a.m. The 301st Fighter Wing Explosive Ordnance Disposal team and the Fort Worth fire department’s bomb squad conducted “a remote procedure” about 2:15 p.m., a news release said.
